Meet the Team
The BPMA Board is made up of 12 elected Industry professionals representing suppliers, distributors and service partners.
The BPMA Board of Directors is responsible for the governance of the association - setting the strategic vision, providing the leadership to put this into effect, supervising the Secretariat and reporting back to the membership. Each Board member is assigned a specific functional role.
BPMA Team
Director General
Gordon is a passionate enthusiast of the promotional merchandise discipline and has headed up the BPMA for the past 8 years. A seasoned speaker at many marketing and internal events, his continual aim is to raise the standards and value of promotional products.
Head of Education
During her time with the BPMA, Daniela launched and managed the BPMA Academy and BPMA Professional Development Programme whilst managing and delivering a portfolio of successful industry events such as the BPMA Christmas Lunches, Regional Events and the BPMA Education Day. In 2016, Daniela became the BPMA Head of Education and now dedicates her time to training and continuous professional development, through the BPMA Education Programme.
Office Manager
As Office Manager, it is Sarah's responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the BPMA office. Sarah's responsibilities also includes HR, Health & Safety and assisting in delivering successful events for the association.
Marketing Events Executive
Emma is responsible for the marketing communication plan, ensuring the digital marketing and traditional marketing meet KPI’s. Including the preparation of events that BPMA wish to attend, ensuring a smooth process for all involved.
Emma is also involved in collating the necessary research together to ensure that the market trends are noted and the BPMA is always moving forward in a positive and effective way.
Membership Account Manager
George is responsible for maintaining existing BPMA member relationships, ensuring that the members are happy with what the Association offer, and listen to the members views to see how BPMA and each member can work together in a productive way.
As well as Account Management George will also focus on product development within the membership base, and will work close with marketing to ensure that any growing trends are communicated to the members.
George is the go to man for any membership enquiries.
BPMA Board Members
Chairman
Responsible for the strategic direction of the association, focussed on raising the profile and standards of the promotional merchandise industry. Motivating the board to ensure we serve to inspire, educate and connect with the membership to remain relevant and to support the future direction and benefit of the members.
President
To provide advice and continuity to the senior management team. Overseeing the research requirements for the association, providing guidance and input to the industry research undertaken by the BPMA.
Vice Chair
Supporting the Chairman on the development and implementation of the association’s strategy. Primarily focussed on overseeing the Education programme with the support of the Secretariat.
Events & Europe
To ensure that the BPMA produce and manage events that are meeting our members needs and that are run professionally and on budget. Within Europe, to guarantee that our industry voice continues to be heard and that we remain aware of and compliant with Pan–European legislation that could affect our members.
Finance
Overseeing the association’s finance function and ensuring the proper systems and checks are in place to help the Board to manage membership funds and to invest sustainably in the future of the industry.
Marketing
Responsible for marketing, media and public relations, digital media and member communications. Working closely with the Secretariat to promote specific campaigns and initiatives.
Membership
Providing members with all the necessary support, guidance, assistance and information needed to ensure they can deal effectively in all aspects of running their business.
Export/International
Setting the international strategy of the association to ensure British companies are better placed than ever before to succeed in a global marketplace.
Clothing
Supporting members with expertise and up-to-date insight on the clothing industry to facilitate well-informed and high quality decision making.
End User Engagement
To encourage membership and promote awareness of the BPMA – what it stands for, the resources and support it offers to both the Promotional Merchandise industry and end users.
Charter and Head of Supplier Relations
Working with members to ensure the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct are attained through adherence to a strict Code of Conduct, a Best Practice framework and the ultimate recognition, BPMA Charter Status. Offering guidance and support to members to help achieve these standards.
Fellows
Being awarded the sword of honour confers fellowship of the BPMA. The prestigious honour is granted to those who have demonstrated dedication to the promotions industry and to the service of the BPMA.
