Using the Information skimmed off a contactless card via one of the many Free Android Apps (which does not show the CV number) it is possible to buy on many online sites such as Amazon but also to book for example a hotel room over the phone as highlighted below.

Late last year, using a very popular hotel booking website I “reserved” a room at a hotel in the Netherlands. During the booking process, I typed in my full name, but the wrong home address. I typed in my card details, but “only” the details I was able to extract using an Android free to download NFC card reading app, which comprised my card number, expiry, and issue date. On confirming my “reservation” I was NOT asked for my CVC code, see screenshot inserted below?

The example below from a leading hotel booking search engine.

Card type *

Card number *

Expiry date *              /

You do not need to enter a CVC code for this booking.

The Card Shield will be a must-have product to carry in your customer's wallet, that will be a useful product and a memorable one.
