Salary: £45k + Dependant on Experience

DTB are actively looking for a forward thinking and positive sales account manager to support the next stage of the DTB’s journey, as we continue our meteoric business growth.

You will be joining a dynamic, fast-paced environment that deals with both high-volume inbound and high-value orders going to some of the biggest brands in the world via our distributor network. Your role will primarily be growing our existing customers and identifying and building new accounts. The Sales account manager position is to strengthen and support the internal account management team through the use of regular customer visits, attending trade and distributor end user shows and building strong relationships.

This is a unique chance to join a growing team at the UK’s leading branding decorator in garments and cotton bag supplies who are always looking to build partnerships, improve processes and bring the best service and product possible to clients.

Our ideal candidate will have experience managing a high volume inbound sales cycle from lead generation to close. You should have an understanding of key sales team metrics to drive forward and achieve ambitious revenue targets. Previous experience working with promotional products and distributor companies would be advantageous.

This is a full time position. DTB have two factories in Leicestershire and Lincoln with office facilities. We believe in flexibility and value collaboration, so this role will be remotely based with an expectation to visit the head office when needed. The role will involve substantial travel around the UK with a focus on the South of England, so there will be overnight stays.

The Role

  • Generate new business opportunities by building relationships with distributor companies and large enterprise accounts.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts to ensure repeat business.
  • Liaise with the internal sales team for support and opportunities.
  • Create the conditions for phenomenal customer relationships through great account management and cross-functional and collaborative working.
  • Analyse trends and competitor activity to ensure DTB continue to be the leading garment and bag decorator in the UK.
  • Manage all processes in our CRM and software systems including managing, creating and tracking reporting and championing best practices in the commercial team.

Must Have

  • 4+ year’s experience working in a sales environment.
  • Strong track record of delivering sales within a successful competitive sales environment.
  • Experience working in merchandising or with promotional products.
  • Experience in managing trade shows.
  • Demonstrate excellent external and internal relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Strong drive, energy and tenacity to succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop and deliver compelling commercial propositions.
  • Analytical and results-driven.
  • Flexible and agile, a solution provider.
  • A full UK driving License.
