Pro Ad: Sales Executive

Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the sales team of a forward thinking, well-established promotional merchandise company. We are looking for individuals who are confident, engaging communicators and are totally customer focussed. You should be passionate about sales and care about exceeding targets and building strong client relationships. 
You will be primarily based at our office in Morpeth, Northumberland.

 

Job Description
As a Sales Executive you will support the growth of the Pro-Ad business by:

  • Creating Sales through tele-sales,
  • ‘On-boarding’ new clients, and
  • Being proactive in identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a sales representative of Pro-Ad, you will:

  • Generate leads (mainly through outbound telesales)
  • Quote leads generate through own outbound work and inbound leads from Pro-Ad’s marketing activities
  • Following up and closing quotes
  • Creating a call plan via our CRM system (a ‘make it happen’ approach!),
    Be a positive ambassador for Pro-Ad by being both personable and professional, and
  • Work independently to achieve your own targets.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
You should have:

  • At least three years’ experience in a similar role (this is preferable, but not essential),
  • A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets through planning and executing effective sales strategies,
  • Experience in communicating over the phone, via email with customers, suppliers and colleagues, and
  • Good organisational skills. The role is fast paced, and you will be expected to manage your own workload effectively.

  • A fast learner of products and services – and be willing to keep developing and enhancing this knowledge,
  • Driven to achieve and exceed targets,
  • Attentive to detail, with an organised approach to everything you do,
  • Articulate, fun and dynamic – the Pro-Ad team thrives on positive energy!
  • A skilled negotiator and calm under pressure, and
  • Willing to go the extra mile.

The position can be hybrid, office based or remote for the right candidate.  We offer a competitive salary dependent upon skill and experience.
