We are working towards a more ethical and sustainable supply chain and are looking for a dynamic and outgoing sales co-ordinator whom we can add to our experienced team to help us make this a reality.
Job Description
• Handling customer enquiries mainly via email, directly from a colleague, or occasionally by phone
• Evaluate requirements, ask key questions regarding budget, time scale, quantity etc
• Sourcing products for quotes and make recommendations, first stop The Advantage Group range, and UK manufactured products
• Key focus on UK, European and sustainable merchandise
• Ensure quotes are accurate, and completed within 24 hours
• Follow up all enquiries
• Support Sales Team with preparing quotes, processing of orders including artwork approvals and delivery time frames
• Sourcing of new products when appropriate
• Work with suppliers to organise pricing, create visuals, order samples and follow up on order deadlines etc
• Manage client expectations, ensuring we keep to delivery deadlines etc
• Attend industry trade fairs and training events
• Attend our own infrequent customer facing shows and support the existing team when required
• Stay abreast of current trends and changes with products in our industry
• General admin duties
Customer Development
• Regular contact with key customers and updating CRM when required
• Expand product selection within existing clients, and new client development
• Look for new tender opportunities, assist with tender process when required
• Preparation and organising of mail shots
Requirements
• At least 3 years previous telephone sales support and customer service/admin experience, preferably gained in a fast-paced environment within the promotional merchandise or print industry
• Able to prioritise and manage several tasks at once
• Excellent communication both written and verbal with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Self motivated and dynamic personality
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• A team player who wants to succeed within the industry
• You must have exceptional problem solving and organisational skills
• Attention to detail and a lover of the minutiae
• Ability to negotiate prices with customers AND suppliers
• Ability to work without direct supervision essential
• Someone who wants to give 100% client satisfaction and provide high levels of customer service
• You will be computer literate with good keyboard skills and CRM experience
• Reliable and trustworthy with a flexible approach to working, possible hybrid arrangement for the right candidate
• Experience of working within a small team
• Own car driver due to rural office location
• Experience of the tender process or procurement contracts desirable
Training
• Full training on our own CRM system and internal processes will be given
• Opportunities to take BPMA industry qualifications to extend knowledge will also be available
• Initial full company product knowledge training
• Full company support & back up provided
• Additional offsite training will be given if required
• Supplier On Site Training Days
PAY
£25,000 - £30,000 plus Bonuses dependent on qualifications, experience and location
