Tuesday 15th November, 12pm-3.30pm
Gaucho, 55 Colmore Row, Lower Ground Retail, Birmingham B3 2AA

We are hosting an exclusive member networking event on Tuesday 15th November in the luxurious surroundings of Gaucho. Tickets are now available for this event on a first come, first served basis and you’re now invited to secure your places.

Great food, great company, great topics

Enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious three course lunch as you network with your fellow BPMA members and industry colleagues. Seated on tables supported and sponsored by BPMA member suppliers, you’ll find this is a networking event with a twist as you change tables with each course, meeting a wide range of suppliers and industry colleagues.

Limited seats

When you book, the BPMA will allocate you, and any additional tickets requested, to a selection of tables. You will change tables at each course to allow you to mix with as many suppliers as possible, and join in numerous discussions.

We are limiting each distributor to four tickets for this event to ensure those attending can engage with a mix of distributors and suppliers. If you book two or more tickets, please note it is likely you will be placed on different tables to help the networking mix.  Please note this venue has limited capacity.

The venue

We are hosting the event at Gaucho, 55 Colmore Row, Lower Ground Retail, Birmingham.  Gaucho is just a stone’s throw from Cathedral Square, situated in the buzz of the city centre, with accessible parking and stations at Birmingham Snow Hill.

Why are we hosting this event?

With tough messages hitting the industry from all sides, it’s imperative we keep communicating and selling. Noises from the wider communications industry mean we are still a market very much in demand and responding to this call, is it is essential we work together to deliver. Networking is an integral part of this process, and we know when our industry gets together, great ideas and work happen! The seating for this event will also ensure everyone gets to catch up with contacts, make new ones, get involved with discussions and debates as we navigate the economic landscape.

Suppliers supporting this event will be helping us host tables. We will be allocating the seating plan for each table for balanced and engaged event.

Ready to book?

Tickets are priced at a very reasonable £75+VAT which includes your welcome drink, three-course lunch and up to half a bottle of wine per person. Soft drinks will be available. You will be able to select your menu choices for the day, advise of any dietary requirements and if you choose steak, the chance to tell us how you’d like it done!

Our Speaker

James Sandbrook: Human

Looking for inspiring speakers for our Member Networking Lunch led us down some interesting paths. With some potential rocky periods ahead, looking at the skills we believe members need to thrive and not just survive was at the top of the shopping list. Discussing the need to get creative and tell the stories around merchandise, James Sandbrook was recommended as the man to speak to our members.

James is the founder of This is Human and Co-founder of The Marketing Meetup. James has worked both client side and within large agencies James found his passion for storytelling and could see the value it had in driving revenue...so turned it into a business. Alongside The Marketing Meet up which he run from Birmingham, James’s agency Human now creates non-corporate, relatable, videos for brands' websites and social media channels. James also runs his own YouTube channel when time allows, sharing his love for mountain biking.

James has been spying on many of the members attending the lunch and is going to help us understand why how we share the magic of merchandise really does matter when we use those all important social platforms.
