This position is an assisting role to Account Manager(s) or Senior Account manager (s) or a combination of the two. The key functions of your role will initially be office based; supporting your account manager on the client base they manage for RDP.
The functions of this role are listed below and act as a guide and are by no means an exhausted list. Due to the individual nature of our client base, certain specific tasks will be required for each account manager and client.
ACCOUNT HANDLING
Be the secondary contact for clients on all allocated accounts
Have an understanding of the current & future titles, including international release dates and general themes
Support your account manager/s to provide quotations, communication and presentations to your client on set projects
Take a pro-active approach to concepts for future clients projects and the creative products that could apply to these releases
With your account manager, be pro-active in communicating with different divisions or territories within the client base you support to further grow these accounts
As and when reasonable required be present at client screenings and events as an RDP ambassador
Escalate complaints to account manager & Sales Director immediately and assist in resolving and responding to the client in an professional and timely manner
CREATIVE & SOURCING
Attend in-house brainstorming & creative meetings and initiate if required
Attend sourcing fairs when requested
Research products for films in sourcing brochures, online, and other available sources
Study the film research and release schedules supplied to help understand the creative theme around specific titles
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Communicate clearly to the team & management the status of all projects you are controlling
With your account manager, brief in the Creative team on new projects
Arrange for approval sheets to be signed off by client
Attend allocated scheduled meetings (internal)
Ensure project samples are sent to all contacts
Ensure client is pro-actively kept up to speed on their work in progress and communicate any negative news promptly after consulting with your account manager / Sales Director how we should communicate to the client
ADMINSTRATION
You are accountable for the following:
• Processing orders and enquiries to the agreed specification, time lines and costs agreed with the client
• Produce Sales Acknowledgements and receive Purchase Orders for you allocated orders
• Work closely with clients, our internal purchasing, logistics, and creative departments to manage orders efficiently and on time, flagging urgently any delays that occur which could affect the delivery date or budgets agreed
• Work to dictating deadlines and communicate with account manager / Sales Director early when you foresee a problem occurring
• Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure that all orders under your control are correctly invoiced as soon as delivery has taken place,
• All orders will be processed via our MIS system which is SAP
• Use initiative and a knowledge of stock lists to advise clients of items available and to pro-actively reduce any redundant stock RDP may have to right off

REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the individual to be self motivated and self driven, to deliver profit margin growth and sales revenue growth in accordance to the constant changes and development of the business and the industry we serve.
Experience in a similar environment required
Salary range £18,000 – £20,000 subject to relevant experience
