THE PLASTIC CARD SHOP SUCCESS LEADS TO NEW BRANDING, LARGER PREMISES & NEW WEBSITE

At a time when many companies are cutting back, BPMA member The Plastic Card Shop Ltd, supplier of loyalty, gift, discount, entry and identity cards, has demonstrated its confidence in its current performance and future growth by introducing new branding, moving to larger premises and launching a new website at www.theplasticcardshop.com.

Founded in 2000 by MD, Matt Payne, the company began life as ICW2000 Ltd but gradually changed its name to the more appropriate ‘The Plastic Card Shop’.



The Plastic Card Shop is active in the sales promotion sector, supplying the Harvey Nichols Diners Club Card and Austin Reed’s VIP Card. It also supplies well-known brands such as Holiday Inn, Southampton FC, Somerfield and Austin Reed with cards for various purposes. 

Speaking of the dynamic developments, Matt Payne said, “The company has grown well organically, but we are implementing a number of significant measures to ensure the company maintains its impressive growth rate and continues to be a centre of excellence in the plastic card market, leading the sector in terms of product innovation and customer service.

“As a marketing-orientated company with responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the identity of many major brands, we are obviously aware of our own brand identity and felt that this needed refreshing in the light of current and imminent developments in our company structure and product range.

“Our new website at www.theplasticcardshop.com reflects our rebrand and will reinforce the agency-friendly disposition of The Plastic Card Shop.


 
“We are also about to launch another innovative website for a range of new card products that are the result of three years of intensive research and development.”


The Plastic Card Shop Ltd is based in Hampshire, UK, and is a member of the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA)  the Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM) and the Hotel Marketing Association (HMA).
