Who are we?
Spark Promotions is a market leader in creating and delivering exciting tailor-made, promotional products for some of the world’s leading brands within the healthcare and beverage industry sectors.

Due to restructuring we’re looking for two outstanding New Business development managers to join our results-focused and motivated team based in Brentford. You will need to be experienced in Account Management with a strong bias towards sales and business development. Ideally you will have at least 1-2 years experience working for either a promotional product supplier, sales promotion agency or similar promotional marketing roles and be able to demonstrate a successful sales track record in B2B product and / or a creative services role.

Managing the entire campaign cycle from initial design concepts to delivery you’ll be responsible for delivering creative products on time to some of the best known brands in Great Britain. As the focal point for all client activity you’ll possess first class telephone, face-to-face and written communication skills together with a genuine entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to inspire trust in those around you.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

•    Display excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Comprehensive product knowledge and the ability to identify feasible product solutions for the client.
•    To achieve and exceed sales targets by growing revenue opportunities with new and existing customer accounts
•    Strong background in account planning, proposal creation and delivery combined with proactive customer management skills.
•    Excellent project management skills are key to the role, and a high level of detail is expected.
•    New business development and marketing expertise with real past experiences of rapid sales revenue generation / sales focus across spectrum of activities
•    Ability to interpret and communicate client briefings with our creative teams to ensure most effective response and product solution.
•    Problem solving and the ability to identify and clearly present solutions.


THINKING AND REASONING

•    Demonstrate the ability to interpret client briefs and offer innovative product solutions which fulfil brand and promotional objectives.
•    Identify and resolve any key issues relating to customers within established guidelines.
•    Professionally research the market to monitor achievement of objectives and budget.
•    Have the desire to keep abreast of competitor offerings and to get to know customers on a personal level.
•    Effectively manage client reviews and communicate with internal teams to ensure service improvements are implemented where necessary

NUMERICAL LOGIC AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SKILLS

•    Manage and achieve budgets.
•    Monitor and control use of resources and make recommendations for cost savings and efficiencies.
•    You must have excellent IT skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Collect and respond to customer feedback in a timely manner.

What we offer in return?
Competitive basic salary £24k to £28k depending upon experience + Performance related uncapped commission + discretionary bonus scheme + Car Allowance / mileage scheme + excellent career progression.

Please note: Applicants must have a full driving licence and be able to commute to / from our office location (Brentford) when not on client appointments.
