This will be the first certification introduced in the promotional merchandise industry. It will cover fundamental aspects of the industry including print processes, product training and legislation. The Academy is designed to cover a broad spectrum of skills covering the promotional merchandise industry, the selling process, marketing techniques, product knowledge, the print process and procurement. 2 modules within the course are endorsed by the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM) and successful candidates will receive their certificates at a Graduation Ceremony at the House of Commons. ![]() Enrolment starts: 15th April 2008 |

Who is the certificate aimed at? |
The BPMA certificate is suitable for the following candidates: 1. Personnel new to the Promotional Merchandise industry 2. Small Business owners 3. Someone in the industry looking for a refresher course |
| What does the certificate involve? |
|
It is a distance learning course where candidates will be expected to study via a log in and password protected online study tool. This will also be complimented by compulsory introductory workshop and a regional onsite factory visits organised by the BPMA .

| How will the course be assessed? |
|
Candidates will be expected to read and learn all module content and answer a series multiple choice questions. Attendance at the introductory workshop and onsite factory will be required in order to pass the course successfully. |
| How long will the course take? |
|
Candidates are expected to study for the qualification at their own pace, however the BPMA recommends that the course should be completed within a 3 – 5 month period. |
